In Part 2 of this series, we will focus on :

  • What is the role of private sector actors in making the CMMC architecture work?

  • Could the role or responsibilities of the CMMC-AB (Advisory Board) change?

  • What’s the significance of the recent DOJ announcement that it’s going to use the False Claims Act to enforce contractor cyber compliance?

  • Does CMMC help deal with Ransomware threats?

  • Is there increased emphasis on incident reporting?

  • Why is cloud important, what is the role of managed service providers, and what should DoD do to clarify and facilitate?

  • While we wait to see what changes DoD makes to CMMC, what are the best courses of action for companies now?
